Dependable Traction and Durability for Smaller Deep Treaded Tires

Rally Q snow chains are constructed of durable galvanized alloy steel with larger dual-sided D-shaped links that provide exceptional traction for smaller deep treaded tires and guarantee long product life. Traction is provided by a symmetrical single diamond pattern chain. Pattern chains are the portion of the snow chain that overlay tire treads, making direct contact with potentially hazardous snow, ice and slush that cover driving surfaces during winter. The symmetrical single diamond chain pattern is well-suited to ATV, quad, UTV and other small off-road vehicle tires in that the larger chain gauge diamond pattern of the Rally Q fits into the deeper treads of these tires creating traction elements that supplement the existing tire ridges. This allows vehicles to reliably driving forward or backwards at needed, regardless of weather conditions. The appropriate tension of each segment of chain links in the Rally Q's pattern chain is ensured by a direct connection to side chains utilizing a special rounded U-hook connector that provides tension without risking damaging tires with sharp edges.

Easy Installation and Manual Tensioning

König Rally Q snow chains feature traditional drive-on the chain installation and quick and reliable manual tensioning. To install drape chains over each of the tires to be fitted ensuring that connection hooks and tension levers along the inner and outer sides are arranged as far from the tire as possible. Allow the vehicle to roll just enough to drive over the chains. Connect and secure the opening of the side chain running along the inner edge of the tire as well as any closing hooks between the treads. The opening of the outer section of side chain is closed using the metal tightening lever which inserts into a link in the opposing edge of the side chain and is then pulled back, cinching the side chain tight. The lever is then secured in place by a separate link located within the side chain. Additional manual tensioning is provided by the tightening chain and coil hook connector that extends from the side chain. Loop the tightening chain around the outer side chain where it meets the pattern chain, allowing just enough slack to connect the coil connector hook to an adjacent chain segment. Drive a short distance before stopping to readjust the tightening chain for optimal tension. Rally Q snow chains are reversible for maximized economy of use. Each chain also ships with open repair links that can be hammered shut or closed with pliers providing an emergency solution for broken or weak spots in a chain.
